Our EventsRinCon '08: Tucson's Premier Gaming Convention SAGA's main event is RinCon '08, Tucson's Premier Gaming Convention. RinCon '08 transforms the entire Halloween Weekend (October 31st through November 2nd, 2008) and the Tucson Convention Center into Southern Arizona's best excuse to get your game on!more >> Ides of Gaming: Tucson's Monthly Game Day SAGA operates the Ides of Gaming, a monthly open game day held at Espresso Art's upstairs community room from noon until six every third Saturday of the month. Bring your games, meet some people, and have fun!Usually participants have board, card, and role-playing games running all afternoon. Have a game group? Come on by, meet some southern Arizona gamers, and try out some new games. It's a very informal gathering that's family friendly and open to any who would like to attend. more >> The Tucson RPG Guild: Your RPG ConnectionInterested in roleplaying games? The Tucson RPG Guild is your connection with other local area gamers. SAGA organizes the Guild, featuring meetings and game days every month. The Tucson RPG Guild is a roleplayer gaming network; all gamers are welcome, no matter what game system you favor.Our first major event is on June 7th with a Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition Release Party. Following that, the Guild will have regular Guild Gatherings, where you can socialize with area gamers, jump in on an ongoing Guild campaign, try out different games, and perhaps form a gaming group of your own! more >> Phoenix ComiCon: Arizona's Greatest Comic Book Convention SAGA ran the tabletop gaming area of Phoenix ComiCon's Gaming Room, a 5100 square foot area devoted to gaming. Phoenix ComiCon was held January 26 and 27th.In addition to the Gaming Room, Phoenix ComiCon is Arizona's biggest comic book convention. This year's guests included Wil Wheaton, Jeph Loeb, Ed McGuinness, and dozens of others. more >> SAGA Socials: Bringing Gamers Together SAGA also organizes social events for meeting gamers in your area. Would you want to find people to game with or want to make some new friends? Find out what's going on in your gaming community at a relaxed, family friendly event. Hey, there's going to be some games played, too!Our most recent SAGA Social was at Hat's Games on Saturday, May 24th. Hat's Games is conveniently located at 1835 S. Alvernon Way in Tucson, just a few blocks south of E. 22nd Street. (location map). Over three dozen local area gamers—two-thirds whom had never attended a SAGA event—attended!
