Are you ready to wear the badge?

You can help to support SAGA events and regional hobby gaming by joining the ranks of the SAGA Marshals. Marshals gain several benefits by signing up, including additional chances to win prizes in our event giveaways, an extension of the early pre-registration period for the RinCon gaming convention, and more.

At the monthly Ides of Gaming events, Marshals in attendance gain two free draws into the prize giveaway.

At the Tucson RPG Guild Gatherings, Marshals are entered into the role-playing game giveaway and receive a title upgrade to their Tucson RPG Guild account.

Marshals attending the RinCon gaming convention receive a special badge recognition, an extended early pre-registration pricing period (which saves $10 off the regular ticket price), and a listing in the program guide.

In addition, Marshals get to wear the official SAGA Marshal badge, access to a discussion list, and a few additional goodies.

Marshals get a cash value of $46 for just $40 for a year. Our current year ends in November; joining the Marshals today is only $20.

The Bounty List

Well, Marshal, we've got more in store for you. Show up to a SAGA-run event with someone or a whole group of people that have never been to a SAGA event before, and collect a bounty:

  • At an Ides of Gaming event, you'll get one additional free draw in the prize giveaway.
  • At a Tucson RPG Guild Gathering, you'll get an additional chance to win in the roll-off.

Current Status and Notes

The button badges are being printed and will be available for pickup at a future SAGA event. An e-mail announcement to all Marshals will go out when the buttons are ready for distribution.

To qualify for event-related benefits, the Marshal must be present at the event.

Pre-registration benefit only applies to mail-in pre-registration or in person at SAGA events during the pre-registration period.
